Omar Al Enezi

As Head of Technical Portfolio Development at ASRY, Omar Al Enezi plays a leading role in shaping the company’s strategic direction across sustainability, modernization, and diversification. He oversees high-impact initiatives including solar energy development, green ship recycling, offshore wind strategy, and EPC project development, aligning ASRY with the region’s evolving energy transition and industrial transformation goals.

Omar has nearly four years of experience at ASRY, beginning his journey as a Mechanical Supervisor before transitioning into strategic leadership roles. His broader career spans government and industry, having served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for five years and earlier as a Special Projects Engineer at the Ministry of Interior.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Bahrain and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bahrain Polytechnic. Omar has also completed the Middle Management Leadership Program, supported by Harvard Business Publishing, which further strengthened his leadership capability and strategic decision-making skills. He is currently a member of ASRY’s Executive Committee for Ship Recycling, contributing to the advancement of responsible industrial practices and long-term sustainability initiatives.
