Sustainability Forum Middle East, in partnership with American Chamber of Commerce Bahrain, hosted a session at the Kingdom of Bahrain’s COP 28 Pavilion addressing the critical role of climate finance in realising the goals of the Paris Agreement and net-zero commitments of the MENA countries.

Finance experts convened to discuss climate finance progress and strategies for COP28. The panel explored achieving green transition funding targets, prioritizing solutions, addressing financing gaps, and mobilizing funds for vulnerable nations. Insights from UN climate conferences, new paradigms for public and private capital utilization, and post-COP28 actions were central to discussions.
