Rawan Salloom

Rawan Salloom is a Vice President at The Arab Energy Fund (previously known as APICORP), working mainly as part of the Treasury and Capital Markets funding and liquidity team. With 13+ years of experience in Treasury, overseeing various responsibilities in cashflow management, debt capital market funding, collateral management and investor relations. Rawan led the efforts in the successful Green Bond issuance by The Arab Energy Fund in Oct-2021. This issuance was notable as it marked the first issuance in the MENA region issued by an energy-focused financial institution and garnered strong demand from global investors and ESG-focused investors. The green bond issuance was recognized with two prestigious awards: the ESG Bond Deal of the Year at the Bonds, Loans and Sukuk Middle East Awards and the Middle East Sustainable Finance award from The Banker.

Rawan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Financial Services with Distinction from Glasgow Caledonian University.
