Zeeba Askar

Zeeba is an esteemed banking professional with a proven track record of over two decades. She has excelled in various areas throughout her career, including strategic asset management, private equity, corporate finance, and sustainable development investments.

She is the President of CFA Society Bahrain, Board Member and Treasurer at Bahrain Association of Banks, and Board Member at Infracorp.

Previously she served as Head of Banking and Finance at BIBF, and prior to that she held various senior position in numerous financial institutions the lates one being Ithmaar Banking Group where she served as Investment Director

Zeeba’s extensive experience includes serving on the boards of numerous companies within the banking and real estate sectors.

Zeeba’s dedication to continuous professional development is reflected in her achievement of a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA Institute and being awarded the Certied GRI Sustainability Professional status. With a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from Delaware, USA, an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain, and a CFA Charterholder, Zeeba has consistently held senior-level positions in the banking and real estate industry.
